Succulents mani using UC mini plate

I have this thing for succulents, they're just so pretty and smooth, and best of all low maintenance! Because I'm the killer of all plants 😳

My kids and I recently started a small gardening project, whereby we collected a few small sections of a succulent from an established garden, and have put  them in a cup of water to establish roots. Once that has happened we will plant the seedlings in a pot. Because we live in an apartment, these are great plants to grow on our sunny balcony.

I was lucky enough to recently receive the new UberChic Succulents mini plate, and couldn't wait to use it. So many cute images on this plate, I'm already planning another mani with this plate!

I started off with a base of EDK Andromeda, that polish is the bomb 😍 It's so damn pretty, I think I need to buy a backup, because it also stamps 🙂

I used my UC Uber mini mat to make some of my decals, it's so easy to reverse stamp and then fill in the images using the mat. I love the size, it's just so convenient and easy to move around my desk. I also find that the top coat I use as a base dries faster using the mat, and stays more flexible. It can go stiff after about an hour, but in the mat I can leave it overnight and it's still flexible the next day. That helps with being able to smooth it on the nail.
I stamped using MDU Black and colored the images using MDU spring green, glass, fantasy, red wine, orange and present. Top coat is HK Girl.

  2. Thank you doll, I thought it would be a great thing we can do together. My son has a gardening class at school, so he's really into it. I grew one like this a few years ago, but my husband accident my knocked it off the balcony when we were moving, and it smashed to smithereens 😩
