Lucky lady bugs 🐞
I've been seeing some fab lady bug mani's on Instagram of late, and decided to get in on the action! I've had this on my mind for some time, since I first received the Little Bitty Icons plate from UberChic. You can purchase it here www.uberchicbeauty.com
I wanted to make this one pop with some holo, and knew just the perfect polish for this task 😀 Electric Lemonade from Glisten & Glow, it is the perfect green. I was not really into green polish until I purchased this beauty. I was lucky enough to find it at 50% during the Thanksgiving sale, I snagged most of the Cocktails Anyone? Round 1 and 2 collection. For some reason I didn't order the pink and purple 🙄 What. was. I. thinking.
After experimenting on Cindy, on which I double stamped the swirls, first with dark then light green, but it looked too busy. So on my left hand I went with a gradient of dark to lighter green for the swirls. The images is from UC plate 1-03.
I reverse stamped the lady bugs. One thing I've noticed, is that I have trouble picking up the images from this plate, using my clear stampers. I found that my Konad stamper gave the best result. It's a rock! I put a bit of clear polish on my Ubermat, and stamped the lady bugs on to it. I dotted the black on and cut them out ready to place on the nail. Top coat and it was done!
Not entirely sure what I'll have for you next, I didn't do my nails yesterday because I was out most of the day, and then after my exhausting workout I didn't feel like doing nails. That never happens! My husband asked if I'm sick 😄
Oh, this is cute, and the color combo is just perfect!
